We were in quite large room with a kid. His bed was also prepared. Not as comfy as the main one, but ok for a several nights. We also had a balcony. Pleasant view on two sides. The bathroom was fine: we couldn't help to prevent small amounts of water leaking on the floor from the shower cabin, and occasionally toilet flush was leaking slightly. But that's for the hotel owners/staff to worry about. There was only one attached hanger in the second wardrobe, but the first one was enough for us. The room layout is interesting. We had a door which effectively separated our room in two sections. Breakfast was fine. Very typical for this level of hotels. They offered some fruits also. We usually went for breakfast before 9 as the staff advises and didn't have any problems with finding free table or lack of food. There is a place nearby where they offer "francesinha" with beer. Very popular with locals, worth a try, but nothing fancy. The beach is reachable by foot, but obviously not much to do there in early spring. The metro/tram line is also close, but we haven't figured how to pay and never used. Fish market is probably worth a visit too. There are paid parking areas outside if can't find a place on the hotel parking which is quite small. We didn't have a car, used taxies which were affordable (in low season at least).

We stayed here the last two nights of our amazing 10-day vacation in Portugal, so we were looking for a place we could relax, get some sleep, and decompress, and Sea Porto was perfect! The night we arrived, there was a city festival in full swing and with streets blocked off, we could not figure out how to get there. We called the front desk to tell them where we were, and three minutes later we had a front desk hotel person in our car with us showing us exactly how to drive there! Once there he apologized for *our* confusion (!) and upgraded us to a room with a balcony as comp! So, in addition to taking in some last minute activities in Matinsinhos, we spent some time hanging out on the balcony with glasses of wine and taking in the festivities! (Big plus was that once we turned in for the night, with closed windows, there was no outside noise at all!) The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was excellent--plenty of variety and delicious. And did I mention how helpful the staff was? :) Very much enjoyed this hotel!

We arrived too early for check in, but Ana the receptionist was great and gave us information about the hotel and how we could travel into central Porto. We got back after 2130 and checked in. This went without a hitch and we were upgraded as unfortunately the bus back to the hotel was diverted and we had to walk about a mile. We ended up with a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. We grabbed a late drink at the well stocked bar. We left about 0745 after grabbing a breakfast. The hotel was great as were the staff.

Great hotel, easy to find, very clean (our son had his Teddy bears and each time we arrived back to our room the teddy's were put at different positions, it made us all a big smile on the face) little detail - so valued Breakfast always fresh and great to choice from. Staff very friendly, communicative and always ready to help (we had special delivery to hotel, no issue, email with confirmation when recived) Metro near by, with easy access to centre of the Porto, beach 10min away Highly recommended

Large room with a balcony with chairs and a table. Comfy bed. Good amount of clothes hanging and desk space. Close to the Camino trail and about 15 minute walk to the beach. Not far from the metro. A range of cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was good with hot dishes, fruits, yoghurt, cheeses and a range of bread and pastries. Dairy and non dairy spreads.
